Electrical Power Subsystem

• Responsible for charging the batteries from the solar cells
• The outer part of the PQ consists of solar cells
• Uses MPPT [Maximum Power Point Tracking Algorithm] to charge the Lithium Ion Battery.
• 5 faced is covered by the PV cells
• The EPS gives a voltage of 4.2V
• Linear Charger to Charge the battery
• 2 Channel current Sensor to read the charging voltage/current and bus voltage/ current
• Buck/ Boost Converter to convert battery voltage to Bus Voltage
